Simon was delighted to spend a day at Studley Wood Golf Club as a ball spotter for an England & Wales Blind Golf competition. 

"I had the pleasure of spotting for Danny and his helper Di, and Barry and his helper Geoff. What an incredible experience to see how you can overcome the hurdle of blindness and still be able to participate in a sport you love. Truly inspirational".

With eight ponies, serving around 60 adults and children, Wyfold have  provided riding lessons for over 50 years. Their work helps riders to gain self confidence and independence, whilst improving their balance, posture and mobility.

Sarah nominated Farm Animal Rescue Society. 

 

Started in 1988 by former veterinary nurse Carole Web, who, with the farmer's permission, took home and hand-raised ‘Larry’ a poorly lamb who wouldn’t otherwise have survived. Now with 450 sheep, all named and cared for, FARS is continuing to do amazing work.
